2 Trapped In Vehicle After Rollover Crash In Wilmington
A three-vehicle accident that injured two people was reported Tuesday afternoon in Wilmington.

WILMINGTON, MA — Two people were trapped in their vehicle and had to be removed by firefighters following a three-vehicle crash in Wilmington on Tuesday.
Police and firefighters responded to the call at 1:40 p.m. reporting a crash in the area of Lowell Street (Route 129) at the Interstate 93 ramp complex.
They arrived to find one of the vehicles had rolled over onto its hood. Two people were trapped inside.

Firefighters from Wilmington and Reading removed the two people, and they were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
One of the drivers involved was cited for failure to yield, police said in a statement.

Police closed roads and ramps at the scene of the crash for about 45 minutes.
