1. Your 3-day Local Forecast: 

  • According to the National Weather Service, there is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday with a high near 86 expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Expect a calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph.
  • Monday night there is a 60 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms with a low of 66 expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Expect a northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. 
  • There is a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms Tuesday with a high of 86 expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Otherwise it will be partly sunny. 
  • Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Expect a south wind from 3 to 5 mph.

3. It's Happening Today: The Children's Theatre Workshop of Wilmington Summer Stock program of  "Treasure Island" kicks off Monday and will run until Friday, July 19. Classes are held at Villanova Hall at 125 Middlesex Avenue in Wilmington. Registration still available.

4. It's Also Happening Today: Check out lego building at the Wilmington Memorial Library at 4 p.m. Ages five and older. Stop in to build a lego creation.
