  • According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 77. Expect a calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. 
  • There is a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday night with a low of 64. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. 
  • Friday there is a 70 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms with a high of 78 expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Expect patchy fog before 9 a.m. 
  • Friday night there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a low around 66. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.
  • There is a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms on Saturday with a high of 80 expected. Otherwise it will be cloudy. 
  • Saturday night there is a 40 percent chance of showers with a low of 67 expected.

3. It's Happening Today: Stop by the American Red Cross Blood Drive happening Thursday at the Masonic Lodge at 32 Church Street from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. All presenting donors receive a free Red Sox t-shirt.

4. It's Also Happening Today: Stop by Storytime at Celebration Kingdom in Wilmington on Wednesday at 10 a.m. This event is free and after the story and craft fun, kids can get up  and move as you bounce around Celebration Kingdom.
