  • There is a 60 percent chance of rain Wednesday after 2 p.m., according to the NWS, which predicts a light east wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
  • Wednesday night will also be rainy, with an 80 percent chance of rain before 5 a.m. with a low of 53. Patchy fog will set in after midnight. 
  • There is a 60 percent chance of rain Thursday before 1 p.m. with a high near 71. A light and variable wind becomes south 5 to 8 mph in the morning. There is also a chance of thunderstorms Thursday after 5 p.m.
  • Thursday night will be wet and cloudy, with a 30 percent chance of showers and a low near 51.
  • Friday will be mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers and a high near 73.
  • Friday night will also be cloudy with a low near 50 and a 40 percent chance of showers.

4. It's Also Happening Today: Wildcats boys varsity baseball will take on Stoneham High School at home at 3:45 p.m. 
5. ICYMI: The Wilmington Fire Department responded to a large brush fire on Salem Street just after 8 p.m. on Monday night. Deputy Fire Chief Rick McClellan said the fire was nothing major, but that a pile of tires and mattresses that were illegally dumped caught fire.
