6 Wheelchairs Stole From Wilmington Organization: Police

The wheelchairs were being donated to hurricane relief efforts.

WILMINGTON, MA — Six wheelchairs were stolen from a Wilmington organization recently, according to a police Facebook post.

The wheelchairs were being stored prior to being donated to the hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina by local groups.

The theft occurred at the Friendship Lodge on Church Street sometime between Friday at 11 a.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.
