Church Of St. William To Host Electronics Recycling Day

Appliances, electronics and bicycles are being collected.

1351 Main St., Tewksbury will be hosting an electronic recycle day and bike collection on Saturday April 13, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church parking lot.

This is a great chance to get rid of items that you can't put out in the trash and might be taking up space in your home or agarage. All electronics items will be accepted, including stereo equipment, fax machines, computer games, monitors, printers, copiers, computers, and TV's.

If it has a plug, it will be accepted.

Appliances will also be accepted, including stoves, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, grills, etc.

Recycling fees are as follows:

$5 computer

$10 any monitor or small TV less than 19"

$15 each TV between 19" and 26"

$20 each TV over 26" wide and wood console TV's

$25 projection TV's

$10 appliances

Free cell phones, car, truck batteries

In addition to the recycling, bikes of all types and conditions are being collected on April 13. Many of the bikes will be rehabilitated and sent to Ghana where they will be distributed to families in need of transportation.

Bikes can be brought to the church parking lot.
