Could Wilmington's Fourth of July Events Return to the Town Common Next Year?
The Fourth of July Committee is making a proposal to do just that before the Board of Appeals on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

The Fourth of July Committee will be presenting proposed plans for the 2016 Celebration to the Wilmington Board of Appeals on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. The group’s proposal is to bring the annual celebration back back to the Town Common.
After a great deal of work by town officials, committee members and members of the participating non-profit groups, the group will be presenting a plan that calls for the Celebration to return “home” to the Wilmington Town Common. For those to whom the tradition of the “Fun on the Fourth Celebration” is an important part of our community, please consider attending this open meeting to show and/or voice your support.
