Democratic Town Committee To Host Candidates At Scholarship Breakfast

will be the location for the Wilmington Democratic Town Committee's Annual Scholarship Breakfast.

The event, which is open to the public, is scheduled to take place April 20, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Each year, the Democratic Town Committee  provides scholarships to a graduating senior of Wilmington High School and the Shawsheen Valley Technical High School.

But this event is more than just a fundraiser. This will likely be voters’ last chance before the April 30 election to meet and hear from their local candidates for Selectmen and School Committee, and their Democratic candidates for the special U.S. Senate Election.

All Democratic state and federal officeholders who represent Wilmington have also been invited to say a few words.
