Do You Owe Fines at Wilmington Memorial Library?

Do you owe fines for overdue books or media from the Wilmington Memorial Library? This month you’re in luck. Rather than shelling out the cash you owe for forgetting to return items on time, a donation to the Wilmington Food Pantry will cover what your fines. 

The Wilmington Memorial Library is sponsoring Food for Fines during the month of August to benefit the Wilmington Food Pantry. Library patrons may have their library fines cleared by bringing a nonperishable food donation to the library.

In the spirit of the program, library officials ask that the estimated value of the donation be close to the amount of the fine. Those who do not have fines are also encouraged to donate to the Food Pantry.
