2 Injured In Head-On SUV Crash In Wilmington
One of the drivers injured was waiting to be flown by MedFlight to a hospital Wednesday night, according to police.

WILMINGTON, MA — Two people were hospitalized after a head-on crash in Wilmington, according to police.
Police received a report of an accident in the area of 800 Salem St. (Route 62) at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday.
The accident involved a Lexus RX 330 and a Jeep Cherokee.

One of the drivers was conscious and taken to a nearby hospital, while the other was waiting to be airlifted to a hospital by MedFlight.
The road was closed Wednesday night and expected to be reopened Thursday morning.

A spokesperson for police said that one of those injured was still waiting for MedFlight as of Wednesday night, and that there was no update on whether the patient was flown out or not.
