Eversource To Inspect Wilmington Power Lines By Drone

WILMINGTON, MA — Eversource will be inspecting power lines in Wilmington by drone beginning this week, the Wilmington Police Department said Sunday.

The utility uses certified drone operators to inspect power lines. Drone operators always carry identification and outside of emergencies the electric company always attempts to notify residents ahead of inspecting their neighborhood, according to a FAQ shared by the police.
