A Flash Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for flooding. It does not mean flooding will occur, but it is possible, according to Massachusetts Emergency Management officials. Officials remind drivers to never drive through flooded roads and to allow extra time if you're traveling.

A flash flood watch has been issued for Wilmington and the rest of Massachusetts for Thursday afternoon and evening. The Flash Flood Watch is active until midnight. A Flash Flood Watch is issued when conditions are favorable for flooding. It does not mean flooding will occur, but it is possible, according to Massachusetts Emergency Management officials.
