For the second day in a row, Glen Road is closed at Middlesex Avenue due to ongoing construction.Detours are in place and drivers should seek alternate routes.The construction is part of a project <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/wilmington/state-grants-funding-wilmington-intersection-improvements-0">the town was awarded funding for last year</a> to install fully actuated traffic signals at the intersection of Rte. 62 (Middlesex Avenue) and Glen Road, as well as the intersection of Rte. 62 and Wildwood Street to improve traffic safety. The improvements will also incorporate exclusive turn lanes, safe pedestrian crossings, and emergency vehicle signal prioritization.
