Heavy Rains, Damaging Winds for Wilmington Wednesday into Thursday

It’s going to be a wet, messy and at times stormy 24 hours here in Wilmington with some much needed rain, damaging winds and severe potential threats across the area Wednesday into Thursday.
These threats include strong to damaging winds, widespread heavy rain with embedded, heavier downpours and thunderstorms (some of which may become severe), according to the National Weather Forecast. For folks on the coast, expect the storm to bring minor coastal/tidal flooding and gale force wind gusts across the waters.
The rain is expected to start in Wilmington late Wednesday afternoon and continue through Thursday morning.
