A serious crash on I-93 Friday morning impacted traffic in and around Wilmington, making for a nightmare commute for many.The crash happened just after 5 a.m. Friday morning on I-93 southbound at Exit 38. The two left lanes of the highway were closed.Those involved had serious injuries, according to Massachusetts state police.The lanes were reopened around 8:30 a.m.

The crash happened just after 5 a.m. Friday morning on I-93 southbound at Exit 38. The two left lanes of the highway were closed.Those involved had serious injuries, according to Massachusetts state police.

The lanes were reopened around 8:30 a.m.

Accident closed two left lanes of the highway as rush hour began. Lanes have since reopened.
