MA Feeling the Bern: Sanders Leading Clinton in Poll
A new poll has Bernie Sanders holding a 49-42 percentage lead over Hillary Clinton in Massachusetts ahead of the March 1 primary.

WILMINGTON, MA - Massachusetts is apparently feeling “the Bern.”
A new Public Policy Polling poll has Bernie Sanders leading Hillary Clinton, 49 percent to 42, ahead of the Bay State’s March 1 primary.

The poll showed Massachusetts voters agree more with Sanders’ plans for Wall Street reform and raising average worker pay compared to Clinton’s. Clinton, however, scored higher than Sanders on leadership, race relations, immigration, and women’s issues.
Sanders is coming off a decisive win in the New Hampshire primary with 60 percent of the vote compared to Clinton’s 38.

But Sanders is struggling outside New England. The Public Policy poll showed Clinton with comfortable leads in eight southern states holding primaries in March.
Polls show Sanders and Clinton in a dead heat in Nevada, which is holding its primary Saturday.
