Mary A. (Lombard) Tkachuk, 49, of Wilmington

Mary graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School, Class of 1984 and Simmons College in Boston, Class of 1988.

WILMINGTON, MA - Mary A. (Lombard) Tkachuk, 49, wife of Joseph Tkachuk, died unexpectedly Thursday morning February 11, 2016 in the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after a long illness.

Born in Ipswich on February 16, 1966 she was the daughter of Richard C. and Myrna J. (Diamond) Lombard. Mary was educated at St. Mary’s elementary school in Danvers and was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School in Peabody, Class of 1984. She also was a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, Class of 1988. Mary and her husband Joseph were married on September 9, 1995 in St. Agnes Catholic Church in Middleton, she would often refer to everyone that her wedding day was the happiest day of her life along with the birth of her daughter Kamy. She enjoyed: baking, traveling and going to the beach. Mary’s favorite times were those spent with family and friends especially during the holidays.

Mary is survived by, in addition to her husband Joseph of Wilmington, their daughter Kamryn M. “Kamy” Tkachuk also of Wilmington, her parents Richard and Myrna Lombard of Ipswich, her sister and brother-in-law: Kathryn “Katy” and Brendon Bruner of Georgetown and their children: Jonathan and Abigale Bruner also of Georgetown. In addition she is survived by her brother-in-law and his wife: Mike and Rebekah Tkachuk of Wilmington and also survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 54 Linebrook Road, Ipswich. Burial will follow in the New Highland Cemetery 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich. Visiting hours will be Monday, Feb. 15. from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Morris Funeral Home 45 North Main St., Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
