Mass. State Police Sergeant George J. Williams, II.

Beloved husband, devoted father, cherished son, dear brother and uncle lost his battle with cancer on April 14.

WILMINGTON, MA - Mass. State Police Sergeant George J. Williams, II., age 57, of Wilmington, passed away on April 14, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer.

George is the beloved husband of Frances H. (Hendry) Williams, devoted father of Stefanie Williams and Alexander Williams both of Wilmington, cherished son of Priscilla (Thurston) Williams of Watertown and the late George J. Williams, dear brother of Debra Martin & her husband Robert of Waltham and Charlene Comeau & her husband Leonard of Watertown, son-in-law of Barbara Vogel & her husband Robert of S. Burlington, VT, brother-in-law of Joan Ashton, Linda Storch, Catherine & William Flanagan, Ann & David Root, Martha Hendry, James Hendry and Louise & Raymond Kaigle. George is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours on Tuesday, April 19 from 4-8 p.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Thomas of Villanova Church on Wednesday, April 20 at 10 a.m.

Memorial donations in George’s memory may be made to the George Williams Fund, c/o Santander Bank, 1045 Trapelo Road, Waltham, MA 02451.
