Nomination Papers Available for Annual Town Elections

Plus, what you need to know about submitting articles for the Annual Town Meeting, last day to register to vote and the annual census.

WILMINGTON, MA - Nomination papers are currently available for those seeking a position on one of several boards an committees with openings this year.

Wilmington’s Annual Town Election will be held on Saturday, April 23.

Residents can pick up nomination papers at the Town Clerk’s office inside Town Hall. Interested residents may file nomination papers for the following offices:

  • Board of Selectmen (two positions)
  • Housing Authority
  • Regional School Committee
  • School Committee (three positions).

Annual Town Meeting

Wilmington’s Annual Town Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 30 beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the High School Auditorium. Petitioned articles are due in the Town Clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2016.

Last Day to Register to Vote

The last day to register to vote for the Town Election and Annual Town Meeting is Monday, April 4.

2016 Annual Town Census

The 2016 Annual Census will be mailed in January. Residents are asked to complete and return the census form as soon as possible. Please call the Town Clerk’s Office, 978-658-2030, if you do not receive a census form by the end of January.
