WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Planning Board is seeking to create a neighborhood mixed-use district in North Wilmington, in a zoning proposal that will go town meeting in April.

The article on the April 30 town meeting warrant would rezone parcels around the North Wilmington commuter rail station from General Industrial and General Business to Neighborhood Mixed Use.

The planning board is seeking to "create a mixed-use village feel," it said in a news release.

"Design standards are also proposed to create attractive, pedestrian-friendly streetscapes," the town said.
