Police Log: An Arrest For Assault and Battery

The following information is provided by the Wilmington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Saturday, Sept. 21 

2:51 a.m.- Police received multiple calls reporting a disturbance in the area of Hathaway Road, with yelling and a car horn going off.

Police received a report from a male who was driving and said he was attacked by a female that resides at 36 Hathaway Road. Police advised him to pull over on Apollo Drive and wait for officers to arrive as well as the Fire Department.

Kristen Alyse Sullivan, 36 Hathaway Road, Wilmington, 5/8/92, was arrested for assault and battery.

5:56 p.m.- Officers responded to a hit and run in the parking lot of the Salvation Army on Main Street.

8:06 p.m.- A resident of Lawrence Street reported returning home after being gone an hour to find her interior lights on. Officers checked and cleared the house.

11:18 p.m. A resident of Corey Avenue reported a loud party on Canal Street with people being loud outside and walking up and down the streets. The homeowner was advised to bring the party inside for the night.

11:31 p.m. A caller at Main Street Shell Station reported a possible intoxicated female just left the store and got into a vehicle and left heading toward Reading. The vehicle was gone when officers checked the area. 

Sunday, Sept. 22

12:58 a.m.- Officers responded to a crash on Shady Lane Drive where a car had hit a utility pole. The vehicle was unoccupied when officers arrived at the scene. There was damage to a fence in the rear of 27 Shady Lane Dr. The operator was located on Sprucewood Road and served summons for leaving the scene of property damage.

11:09 a.m. A vehicle backing out onto Main Street struck an elderly female at low speed in the parking lot.
