Rain for Sunday, but Warm Temperatures Return

WILMINGTON, MA - There’s lots of rain in store for Wilmington this weekend, but with it will come some more near-record warmth.

On Saturday temperatures will be in the 40s, but come Sunday it’s going to feel like spring with tempersatures in the mid-50s, but with that comes a lot of rain.

Here’s a look at Wilmington’s weekend weather forecast:

• Friday: Cloudy skies with a high of 39 degrees. Expect overcast skies will a low of 31.

• Saturday: Cloudy with a high of 43. Showers move in Saturday night but taper off with foggy conditions overnight. Saturday’s low will be 37 degrees.

• Sunday: The rain moves in as does the wind and even some thunder on Sunday with a high temperature of 53 degrees. Wilmington could see one to two inches of rain on Sunday. Come Sunday night temperatures will drop to 28 degrees.
