Results: Wilmington's 2016 Annual Town Election
According to the Town Clerk's Office, voter turnout was low at only 13 percent.

WILMINGTON, MA - Wilmington's Annual Town Election was Saturday, April 23 and the results are in.
There was only one contested race in this year's election for two seats on the Board of Selectmen being left vacant by Michael Newhouse and Lou Cimaglia, who both announced earlier this year they would not be running for re-election. Gregory B. Bendel and Kevin A. Caira won those two seats.
In the School Committee race, Julie Broussard and Margaret Kane both won their re-election bids, while Thomas Talbot also won a seat on the committee.

Robert G. Peterson, who was running for re-election to the Regional Technical Vocational School Committee also won his race.
The Housing Authority race, which had two write-in candidates was reported to be too close to call. Official results of that race are expected Monday.
