WILMINGTON, MA - Robert E. Brabant, “Bob”, age 83, of Wilmington, formerly of Tewksbury, died peacefully on January 16, 2016.

Bob was the beloved husband of the late Angelina T. (DiChiara) Brabant, devoted father of Bob Elfman & his wife Joanne of Pepperell, Kevin Brabant & his wife Jane of Lowell, Steven Brabant of North Reading, and David Brabant & his wife Lisa of Wilmington. Loving “Papa” of Lindsay, Rachel, Bob, Kevin, Brian, Tony, Jessica, Nathan, Danielle, Steven, Daniel, Heather, Stephanie, Kristen, and great-grandchildren Drew, Mia, Brennan, Riley, Colton, Alexis, Jessica, Emily, Nico, Caleb, Madison, Mathew, and Hailey. Son of the late Aristide and Elizabeth (McDonough) Brabant, brother of Bernard “Swig” Brabant of Dudley.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Tuesday, Jan. 19 from 4-8 p.m. Bob’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. in the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 87 Church St. (Rte. 62) Wilmington. Interment will follow in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorial donations in Bob’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
