Scenes from the 2013 Wilmington High School Graduation

The Wilmington High School Class of 2013 graduated on Sunday, June 2 in front of a crowd of proud parents, family, friends and educators.

The commencement took place at the Shriner's Auditorium.

Addressing the graduating class, Superintendent of Schools reminded students to thank their families.

"As you celebrate today, find and thank your family because they have always been there for you," Benton said.

Benton also called for a moment of silence to remember Joseph Murphy, a Wilmington senior who passed away unexpectedly this year.
