Construction continues Wednesday on Rte. 62 at Glen Road. There will only be one lane of traffic open. Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area.The project is part of <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/wilmington/state-grants-funding-wilmington-intersection-improvements-0">funding awarded to the town last year</a> to install fully actuated traffic signals at the intersection of Rte. 62 (Middlesex Avenue) and Glen Road, as well as the intersection of Rte. 62 and Wildwood Street to improve traffic safety. The improvements will also incorporate exclusive turn lanes, safe pedestrian crossings, and emergency vehicle signal prioritization.
