What's Open, What's Closed on Labor Day in Wilmington?
Town offices, schools and banks will be closed for the holiday and trash pick up will be delayed by one day.

The official end to summer is upon us with Labor Day fast approaching.
Here’s what’s open and what’s closed on Labor Day, and don’t forget - with the Monday holiday, trash and recycling will be delayed a day, according to the town’s DPW. (So if your normal pick up is Monday it will be Tuesday, Tuesday will be Wednesday, etc...)
Town Hall and all town offices are closed Monday, including the Senior Center and Wilmington Memorial Library. The library will also be closed on Saturday, Sept. 5. All schools, both public and private, are closed Monday, as well.

All federal and state offices are also closed on Monday. This includes the Post Office, as well as the State Department of Emergency Management and other state public health offices.

- Banks: All banks are closed on Labor Day.
- Retail: Retail stores in town are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
- Bars, Restaurants: All are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
- Liquor Stores: Open
- Town Offices: Closed
- Wilmington Memorial Library: Closed Labor Day and Saturday, Sept. 5
- Post Office: Closed
