Wilmington BBQ Restaurant Announces Opening Date For New Location

WILMINGTON, MA — Code 1 BBQ has closed its original location and is moving to a new location nearby.

The restaurant closed at 211 Main St. Code 1 BBQ will reopen at 228 Main St. in "a few weeks," according to a Facebook post.

"Thank you for all the support and love we wouldn't have made it this far without this awesome community," the restaurant posted.

A grand opening will be held April 11 with a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m.

The veteran-owned, women-run, family-operated BBQ restaurant is expanding into a larger space to "serve more guests, host events, and introduce exciting new menu items."
