Wilmington Breaks Christmas Eve Temperature Record

Thursday's 69 degree temperatures broke the previous Christmas Eve record by eight degrees.

Wilmington’s 69 degree temperature on Thursday disintegrated the previous Christmas Eve high temperature record of 61 degrees set back in 1996 by eight degrees, according to Intellicast. Thursday’s temperatures are also the seventh-highest marks ever recorded in Wilmington in the month of December.
