Wilmington High School 9/11 Memorial Dedication Ceremony Thursday
At the event, a time capsule from 1950 will be opened and its content revealed to the public.

The Wilmington Public Schools invites the community to attend the Wilmington High School Time Capsule opening and 9/11 Memorial Dedication Ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
The event will take place in the auditorium of Wilmington High School, located at 159 Church St. At the event, will be the opening of the time capsule that was laid in the cornerstone of Wilmington High School back in 1950 and its contents will be revealed to the public.
The ceremony will also include the dedication of the new student-designed 9/11 Memorial that commemorates the tragic events that took place in our country on Sept. 11, 2001.

A reception including light refreshments will follow in the Library Media Center so the public can view the new 9/11 Memorial.
