Wilmington Issues Warning About Voter Registration Scam
"It has been reported that a resident received a text that told them they were not registered to vote," according to the town.

WILMINGTON, MA — The Town of Wilmington is warning residents about a scam in which residents are falsely told they are not registered to vote.
The following appeared on the Wilmington MA Town Hall Facebook page:
It has been reported that a resident received a text that told them they were not registered to vote. It instructed them to click a link in the text. The Office of the Town Clerk and the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth will not send you a text regarding your voter registration status.
