Wilmington Man Dies In I-93 Motorcycle Crash On Friday

Rodrigo Rosa, 24, died from injuries suffered in the single-vehicle crash, which took place on northbound I-93 at Exit 31.

WILMINGTON, MA — A Wilmington man died after his motorcycle crashed Friday on northbound Interstate 93 in Wilmington, the Massachusetts State Police Andover Barracks said.

Police said Rodrigo Rosa, 24, was the only person involved in the single-vehicle crash, which took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. at Exit 31. MSP troopers and Wilmington fire and police personnel responded to the scene, according to authorities.

The MSP said the cause and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation by MSP Troop A, the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the State Police Crime Scene Services Section.

Two lanes of traffic on northbound I-93 were closed for two hours on Friday during the crash investigation, officials said.
