Michael Paquette said he's using some of his winnings to take a dream 35th-anniversary trip. He actually received $650K before taxes

WILMINGTON, MA — After striking it rich in the Massachusetts State Lottery, a Wilmington man said he's using some of his winnings to pay for an overseas trip, according to the Lottery.
Michael Paquette won $1 million in the "10,000,000 Cash King" instant ticket game, the Lottery announced last week.
The Lottery said Paquette chose to take the cash option on his prize, which meant he received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.
