Wilmington Memorial Library Hires New Director
Kate Coraccio was previously the Deputy Director for Borrow Services at the Worcester Public Library.

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Memorial Library is welcoming in a new director, Kate Coraccio.

Everyone give a warm Wilmington welcome to Wilmington Memorial Library's new Library Director, Kate Coraccio! Kate was previously the Deputy Director for Borrow Services at the Worcester Public Library, but has also worked at the Morse Institute Library in Natick and the Chelmsford Public Library. We asked her a couple questions so that we as a library and a community could get to know her better!

What are you most looking forward to about working at WML?
I am most looking forward to getting to know the community and working with the talented staff. Everyone has been extremely kind and eager to welcome me to Wilmington.

What's your favorite part about your job? My favorite part of being a Librarian is connecting people with information, whether that is a book, a database, a social program, or a piece of local history. I also love the detective work of a good reference question.
What is your favorite book?
“The Devil in the White City” by Eric Larson and "We Found a Hat" by Jon Klassen.
What is your favorite genre?
True Crime and Biography, but I mostly read children's books to my 5 year old son!
What's your favorite food?
Croissants, savory or sweet!
