Wilmington Police Warn Residents About RMV Scam
The messages threaten license suspension, legal action, and more unless the target pays immediately through a suspicious link, police said.
WILMINGTON, MA — Police are issuing a warning to residents about a Registry of Motor Vehicles scam.
The scammers will pose as the RMV in texts and demand payments while making threats.
