Wilmington students can add Thursday to their list of snow days this year. Wilmington Public Schools announced on Thursday morning around 5 a.m. that due to the incoming storm, school is closed for the day. Superintendent of Schools Joanne Benton confirmed the news to Patch at about 5:20 a.m. This marks the second straight week that schools have been closed for a day due to a winter storm.

The announcement was made just after 5 a.m.
