Wilmington Schools Release Reopening FAQ Documents

The school year is set to begin Wednesday, Sept. 16 with a remote day for all cohorts.

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools published its first set of frequently asked questions about school reopening, Tuesday, ahead of the first day of school, Sept. 16.

More sets of FAQs will be posted over the next week, but the first set covers scheduling, learning models, medical protocols, cleaning, technology, transportation, CARES and community support.

The FAQs so far are available here. You can email WPSReopening@wpsk12.com with questions that are not covered in the FAQs.

All three cohorts — full remote and the two hybrid cohorts — will begin the school year with a remote day, Sept. 16. The School Committee is holding a meeting, rescheduled from Wednesday, the night before, Sept. 15.
