Wilmington Store Sells $1 Million Scratch-Off Ticket Winner
A Wilmington trust was the winner of a huge cash prize in a Mass Lottery game.
WILMINGTON, MA — A lottery ticket sold in Wilmington is a $1,000,000 winner, according to Mass Lottery.
The lucky ticket was sold at the Market Basket on Dec. 31 in the Gold Mine 50X game. The store earned a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
There are no remaining top prizes of $1 million in the Gold Mine 50X game, which is a $5 scratch-off ticket.

A Wilmington-based trust was the winner. The Goldfinch Trust opted for a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes, according to WWLP 22 News.
