WILMINGTON, MA — Eleven candidates returned papers to run in the Wilmington town election by the Friday deadline, the town clerk said.

Wilmington voters will have two contested School Committee races on the ballot, April 24.

For two full School Committee terms, the two incumbents face a challenger, whereas four residents threw their hats in the ring for the final two years of Steve Bjork's seat. But other races are uncontested, with only one candidate returning papers for the open Board of Selectmen seat and other races.
