Wilmington Town Election: Two Candidates Take Out Papers
There are six seats up in the April 24 town election, including a Board of Selectmen seat, two School Committee seats and town moderator.

WILMINGTON, MA — Just two candidates, both incumbents on the School Committee, have taken out papers to run for local office in the 2021 Wilmington town election, the town clerk said Monday.
Mary Jane Byrnes and David Ragsdale, the two School Committee members up for re-election, have taken out nomination papers.
The following other seats are up for election:

- One Board of Selectmen seat, currently held by Board Chair Jonathan Eaton.
- Moderator, currently held by Rob Peterson, who said he is not running for re-election.
- One Housing Authority seat, currently held by Chair Ioannis Alefantis
- One Shawsheen Tech School Committee seat, currently held by James Gillis
Nomination papers are available from the town clerk's office and are due by March 5.
The election is scheduled for April 24.
