While another day of warmth and low humidity was in order for Thursday in Wilmington, according to the National Weather Service, sunshine will give way to afternoon clouds, but lucky for us we’ll be missing some passing showers.

Here’s a look at your weekend weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Friday will be mostly sunny in the morning before increasing clouds and and showers arrive later in the day. Friday night expect considerable cloudiness with occasional rain showers and a low of 58.

  • Saturday is shaping up at this point to be the better of the two days with partly sunny skies and a high of 74. Partly cloudy skies Saturday night will give way to cloudy skies overnight with a low of 57.
  • Sunday looks to be wet, with scattered showers and Thunderstorms throughout the day and lasting through the evening hours. Sunday’s high is expected to be 78 degrees, with a low Sunday night of 62.

Warmer and more humid conditions are on the horizon for next week with several days expected to hit 90 degrees.
