It’s going to be another beautiful week to start, with lots of sunshine and warm weather. The beginning of the work week is turning out to be another week filled with hot summer temperatures and sunshine. Clouds and rain do move in on Thursday before clearing up for Friday.

Here’s a look at Wilmington’s weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Monday: Sunny skies and a high of 91 degrees. Variable cloudiness Monday night with scattered thunderstorms and a low of 68.
  • Tuesday: Partly sunny skies and a high of 89. Mostly clear skies Tuesday night with a low of 62.
  • Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies and a high of 84. Clouds will be mostly clear Wednesday night with a low of 57.
  • Thursday: Partly cloudy early, followed by mostly cloudy skies and a few showers later in the day. Thursday’s high is expected to be 78. Expect showers Thursday evening, then partly cloudy skies Thursday night with a low of 56.
  • Friday: Sunshine returns Friday with a few clouds and a high around 80. Mostly clear skies Friday night will give way to occasional showers later in the night with a low of 58.
