Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.There was one rape reported, one robberies, and zero aggravated assaults.Other crime stats for Winchester include 132 larcenies, 14 burglaries, five motor vehicle thefts, and one case of arson.Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
