Postal Worker Bitten By Dog
At 1:37 p.m. March 29, Winchester Police responded to Pierrepont Road for a report of a dog complaint. The caller reported a postal worker had been bitten on the right calf by a 16-year-old Wheaten Terrier mix, and afterward a disturbance ensued between the postal work, movers and the dog's owner, according to a police report. The postal worker allegedly sprayed the dog with pepper spray, and a mover at the residence took exception to the postal worker's spraying of the dog because the dog had already let go of the worker's pant leg, according to the report. The postal worker sustained a tooth-sized puncture wound to his right calf, according to the report. The dog was current on all vaccinations and had not shown aggression toward anyone before, the dog's owners told police, according to the report. The postal worker told police he could finish his route and planned to see a doctor later in the day, according to the report. The animal control officer told the dog's owners that it is standard procedure that when someone is bitten by a dog that the dog is quarantined, according to the report.

Man Revived After Collapsing on Winchester Tennis Court
At 8:13 p.m. March 26, police and fire were called to the Winchester Indoor Lawn Tennis Center on East Street for a report of a man that collapsed on a tennis court. The man was running after a tennis ball and collapsed, according to a police report. The three men playing tennis with the man that collapsed began performing CPR, and a doctor that happened to be in the area detected a faint pulse and agonal breathing when CPR had started, but then nothing, according to the report. Fire Department personnel were able to revive the man, and he was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, according to the report.

11:45 a.m.: Police responded to the intersection of Main and Washington Streets for a report of a two-vehicle accident with no tows or transports. A report was taken.

8:48 a.m.: Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Street for a motor vehicle violation. A 25-year-old Somerville man was cited for having an expired inspection sticker and an expired registration, according to a police report. The man's tan Ford Taurus was towed from the scene, according to the report.
10:23 a.m.: Police responded to a Stetson Hall apartment on Elmwood Avenue for a report of an attempted breaking and entering. A woman told police that she heard what sounded like someone attempting to open her apartment door with a key, according to a police report. When she asked who was at the door, a man, allegedly masking his voice, told the woman he must have had the wrong apartment and left using the elevator, according to the report. The woman did not see the suspect(s), according to the report. A report was taken.
March 28
11:52 p.m.: Police called to Hillcrest Parkway for a report of a domestic dispute. A couple allegedly squabbled over whether the skylight in their bedroom should be open all evening, according to a police report. The wife allegedly stood on top of her husband to shut the skylight, when she claims he shoved her onto the bed during the disagreement, according to police. No injuries were reported and no arrests made by police, according to the report. The husband left for the night, while the wife stayed at the residence, according to the report.
4:35 p.m.: Police responded to the intersection of Winslow Road and Bacon Street for a report of a two-vehicle accident with one tow and no transports.
March 29
3:33 p.m.: Police called to Pond Street for a report of a two-vehicle accident with no tows or transports. A report was taken.
