When Will Starbucks Reopen in Winchester?
Renovations to the Main Street location in Winchester are complete and the store is expected to reopen Wednesday morning, according to a Starbucks spokesperson.
After shutting down its operation for several days, the Starbucks in Winchester Center will reopen Wednesday morning, according to a company spokesperson.
Starbucks, located at 542 Main St., was closed from April 15 to April 23 while improvements were made to the store.
"As a standard course of business, we continually evaluate our store portfolio to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our customers," according to the spokesperson. "While we have made small improvements to our Winchester store over the past 20 years, we are pleased to report that the location will feature new indoor and outdoor furniture as well as a Clover® brewing system when we re-open (Wednesday) morning.

"Clover® coffees are selected from farms all over the world by our experienced coffee team, and offer ultra-premium brewed coffee made fresh by the cup. The coffees are delivered to Starbucks locations with a Clover® each week to ensure maximum freshness and flavor, and are available for a limited time."
The company declined to comment on how much the renovations cost.

While the store was closed, employees had the opportunity to continue earning a paycheck, according to the spokesperson.
"During this renovation period, our Winchester partners (employees) were able to work at nearby Starbucks locations," said the spokesperson.
A visit to the storefront Tuesday night revealed workers doing finishing touches in preparation of the store's reopening Wednesday. The new outdoor tables were set up, as were the indoor ones.
