A portion of the roadway beneath the Cross Street bridge will soon close to motorists for scheduled MBTA work.Traffic will not be permitted to pass under the railroad bridge on on Saturday, Oct. 17, starting at 7:00 a.m. and continuing until approximately 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18.Due to necessary bridge repairs being undertaken by the MBTA, the portion of Cross Street under the bridge will be closed.There will be access to properties abutting the railroad tracks, but through traffic will not be permitted. Detours will be set up during the weekend.
