12 Men Nabbed On Prostitution Soliciting Charges: Worcester Vice

WORCESTER, MA—Twelve men are now facing charges after a prostitution sting in Main South in Worcester, an effort to target a section of the city where prostitution has plagued the area.

Worcester's vice squad on Wednesday, Feb. 21, worked the Main South area and during the course of the evening had several undercover male and female officers in different locations. Police got information out of neighborhood crime watch meetings as well as interviews with business owners and residents as to where to target. The vice squad strategies have lately been to target the demand side of the problem and place greater emphasis on going after the “Johns” that travel through the area, according to police.

The following men were charged with approaching the female decoy officers and offered to engage in sexual activity for a fee.

Ali Oihi, 39, Nuttall Lane, Worcester.
Allan Byamukama, 27, West Boylston Street, Worcester.
Wayne Walker, 61, Maple Avenue, Rutland.
Estevez Eustaquino, 51, Charlton Street, Worcester.
Matthew Hughes, 53, Hawes Street, Wrentham.
Pedro Lopez, 49, Hancock Street, Worcester.
Liberto Frade, 54, Suffield Street, Worcester.
Randy Jarvis, 37, Newton Street, West Boylston.
Robert Yantin, 50, Thenius Street, Worcester.
Angel Serrano-Rios, 28, Grand Street, Worcester.
Jose Garcia, 23, Bluff Street, Worcester.
John Meager, 49, Granby Road, Worcester.

All suspects were arraigned on Wednesday at the Worcester County District Courthouse.
