2 From Worcester Among Victims Found In CT Home

Connecticut state police said a 3-year-old and a 33-year-old were two of the three found dead in a Brooklyn home Tuesday.

WORCESTER, MA — Two Worcester residents were found dead in a Connecticut home near the state line on Tuesday, state police have confirmed.

Connecticut state police said Lury Pizarro, 33, and Emanual Perez, 3, were two of the three people found in the Brooklyn home Tuesday evening. The third person had not been identified as of Thursday afternoon.

Near 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Connecticut state troopers from Danielson received a report of a suspicious incident at a residence on Middle Street in Brooklyn. The troopers found three individuals inside the home, and all pronounced deceased at the scene.

"This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation remains active and ongoing," state police said.

Lury Pizzaro was the 3-year-old's mother, according to a GoFundMe fundraiser set up by family members.

Neighbors near the home reported hearing gunshots Tuesday around the time police arrived, according to the Connecticut TV station WTNH.
