Alleged Bracelet Thief Wears Stolen Jewelry; Arrest Made Easy

The breaking and entering occurred on Northborough Street.

WORCESTER, MA—Two teens are facing charges after police say they swiped a gold necklace from a vehicle.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, police got a call that someone had broken into a car and stolen items from inside on Northboro Street. Witnesses gave police a description of the two men they had seen inside the vehicle, one rummaging through the car and the other acting as a lookout.

According to the car's owner, a gold bracelet was taken from the car.

Police found the two suspects at the corner of Hamilton Street by Standish Street, one of them wearing the allegedly-stolen bracelet. The victim identified the suspects, and the jewelry.

Both males were identified as 15-year-old Worcester residents. The two were placed under arrest and charged with larceny over the value of $250.00 and breaking and entering into a motor vehicle with the intent to commit a felony.

The two teens will be arraigned at the Worcester County Juvenile District Courthouse on a date yet to be determined.

The property was returned back to the owner.
