Bombay Lounge Opening In Worcester's Canal District
Bombay Lounge will host a grand opening on Friday, taking over the space recently vacated by Maddi's Cookery and TapHouse.

WORCESTER, MA — A recently-vacated Canal District restaurant space will be full again Friday with a new Indian restaurant set to open along Water Street.
Bombay Lounge will open at 64 Water St., the former home of Maddi's Cookery and TapHouse, which closed in November after more than four years in the Canal District.
Bombay Lounge will be Worcester's first formal sit-down Indian restaurant, complementing other local spots like Namaste Woo in the public market building, The Shack — which serves multiple cuisines — and Fantastic Pizza along Main Street.
